Verification
A check mark on the board answers exactly one question: is this the mint the team says it is?
What it means
- The team behind the token confirmed this mint is theirs.
- Its name, ticker, and logo on the board come from that team.
- Imitators sharing the same ticker can be told apart from it.
- Its 0.7% share is spent on buybacks from the moment it verifies.
What it does not mean
- It is not an endorsement, and not a view on whether the token is worth buying.
- It says nothing about the contract being audited or the supply being fair.
- It does not mean the team is trustworthy — only that they are who they say.
- It can be withdrawn if the mint or the team behind it changes.
A verified token can still lose all of its value. Read the contract, look at who holds the supply, and decide for yourself.
Why unverified tokens still build a pool
Every swap pays the same fee whether a token is verified or not, and the buyback share is set aside either way. It simply waits. When a team verifies, the pool that their traders already funded is spent on the token from the first block — nothing accrued before that point is lost, and nothing is redirected elsewhere in the meantime.
